cooling down

so an important element of this academy has been not talking about the things we learn during the day when we're on breaks, on lunch, and done for the day.  we have time during the day in sessions to process, to question, etc.  our amazing instructor has really impressed upon us that it isn't necessary and it's really unhealthy to constantly have this kind of work (work that deals with so much trauma) on your mind all the time.

i'm glad she's said it, and i think it's a little easier for me to pull back than for some other people.  but it still isn't easy, per say.  addie and i watch Say Yes to the Dress to cool off sometimes but then that show can come with its own set of other stresses hahaha.  here's a little video clip i have watched today to help me cool down and move my mind to a less-stressful area.

this is a commercial that i just find hilarious.  there are a bunch of them on youtube that are all for this same product, Old Spice bodywash.  the style of the commercial is just so creative and ridiculous and imaginative; it was actually an extremely successful campaign that included all sorts of interactive things on the Old Spice website, and actually won an award.  this one ad alone has over 41 million views just on youtube!!!
